The Widgets is back—now shipping from stock

The Widgets has had a refresh.

We’ve updated the website, refined our product range and made some important changes to how our products are manufactured and supplied.

Now shipping from stock

Previously, our products were generally manufactured to order. We are now producing them in batches and holding finished stock ready for dispatch.

This means that when a product is shown as available, it is built and ready to ship—without the previous made-to-order manufacturing time.

Stock will still be produced in limited quantities, with new batches of testers becoming available throughout the year. If something you need is currently unavailable, sign up for our mailing list to hear when the next batch arrives.

A simpler standard range

Our current production range is available in black as standard.

We are also no longer offering standard personalisation on the TW-ST Socapex Wiring Tester. This allows us to manufacture products more efficiently, maintain consistent stock and dispatch orders more quickly.

We’re still happy to discuss custom products, personalised designs and alternative colours where quantities and production requirements allow. Email tim@thewidgets.co.uk to tell us what you have in mind.

More delivery options

Orders can now be delivered using either Royal Mail or DPD, giving you more choice when placing your order.

To celebrate the relaunch, shipping is free on every order placed during August 2026.
