TW-ST Socapex Tester

The TW-ST is a quick fault finding tool for Socapex cables that present problems on tour or during normal use supplying six channels of 240VAC 50/60Hz.

Featuring six individual 240VAC 50/60Hz LED testers, the TW-ST shows separate fault indications for each channel of the Socapex cable. 

Each channel of the socapex has three LEDs capable of showing the following wiring faults (per channel)

• - All OK

• - Live Earth Reverse

• - Live Neutral Reverse

• - No Earth or Neutral

• - Live Fault

• **Will NOT detect a Neutral Earth Reverse

• **Will not detect faults between channels of the socapex. (Ie wiring swap between channel one live and channel two live)

• Rating: per channel 250V~ (components rated to 1000v)
  
• Ingress protection: IP20
• Usual operation temperature ~ +25°C
• Only temporary usage allowed! (not for permanent use)
• For qualified electricians use only
• To ensure proper function first check the device at a well-known voltage source (within nominal range of device). Repeat checking regularily.

This device is not suitable for testing new, untested cables, it is suitable for quick fault finding in the live events industry by competent personnel only.

Only to be left plugged in and switched on for 5 minutes at any one time.

This device is only suitable for socapex/19p pin that is wired in a standard configuration and expected to have 240VAC on each of the six channels.

The six internal testers are single phase testers wired to each “channel” of the socapex connector. This is not suitable for Motor Power Socapex
