TW-ST Socapex Tester

TW-ST 19-Pin Socapex Wiring Tester
Quickly check the supply and wiring reaching the end of a six-channel Socapex cable.
The TW-ST is designed for fault-finding on live-event and temporary-power systems. With the supply isolated, the tester is connected to the output of a Socapex cable or distribution system before power is applied. Once energized, it provides a clear indication of the wiring condition present on each of its six channels—ideal when investigating a missing or faulty circuit during prep, installation or on tour.
Six independent testing circuits provide separate LED indications for every channel.
Detectable wiring conditions
For each of the six channels, the three LED indicators can identify:
- Correct wiring
- Live/earth reverse
- Live/neutral reverse
- Missing earth or neutral
- Live conductor fault
Testing limitations
The TW-ST cannot detect a neutral/earth reversal.
The TW-ST is intended for quick fault-finding on existing systems. It is not suitable for commissioning or certifying new or previously untested cables.
Compatibility
The TW-ST is designed for standard-wired 19-pin Socapex systems carrying six separate, single-phase 240V AC channels.
It must not be used with three-phase Motor Power Socapex or other alternative pin configurations.

Important safety information
For use by qualified electricians and suitably competent persons only.
Before use, verify the TW-ST against a known, correctly wired supply within its rated voltage range. Repeat this check regularly to confirm correct operation.
Always isolate the supply before connecting or disconnecting the tester.
Do not leave the tester connected to an energized supply for more than five minutes at a time.
